SOMEDAY

Raphael Giglio

Here inside my memory there’ so much to explore

And so much that can help me understand myself much more

I can see that dreams are all just uncompleted thoughts

Perhaps I’ll think about them someday

Wandering through the halls of reminiscence in my mind

I sense a sort of innocence that’s now so hard to find

I can’t comprehend why feelings change as time goes by

Perhaps I’ll understand it someday, someday I'll know why

Seeing life in retrospect makes everything so clear

It helps you understand the things you love and what you fear

And troubles you could not get through and now won’t even try

Perhaps you’ll overcome them someday, someday you’ll get by

But keep growing,

And keeping changing

And the future will be brighter than the past

Think about your life right now until it all makes sense

And someday let your children learn from your experience

And what they do not understand your legacy will show

Perhaps they’ll read about you someday, someday they will know

But keep growing,

And keeping changing

And the future will be brighter than the past

I believe that God’s with us in all the things we do

And He’s the only one who really knows what we go through

Still I’m not so sure why people still suffer and die

Perhaps I’ll understand it someday, someday, someday I’ll know why
